PASADENA, Calif. (PRWEB) January 15, 2013
The Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer, Pasadena's premier family law firm announced today that Donald P. Schweitzer has officially taken office as the new president of the Pasadena Bar Association (PBA).
"Being president of the PBA gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our member’s participation with the association,” said Donald P. Schweitzer, founder & partner, Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer. “The Pasadena Bar Association is set up to provide its members with opportunities to connect with other local attorneys and experts, have a place to discuss and share professional challenges, and find ways to use their skills to help the judicial system and community. The PBA has been successful at doing all of these things, and I intend on making sure that our members get the maximum benefit of being part of this great organization.”
“Don is blessed with good instincts and has a take-charge personality without being overbearing, and I predict that Don will be among the great presidents of our association,” said Sajan Kashyap, former PBA president and founder and partner of the Law Offices of Sajan Kashyap. “Don recognizes that every member on the board has worked hard to be an attorney and has set aside time to serve the association as a volunteer. He understands that aside from his own agenda and the association’s goals, each member will have his/her own views, and I’m confident that Don will be positive in his communications and retain the mutual respect he shares between his colleagues.”
A member of the PBA for nine years, Schweitzer served as vice president in 2012 and replaces outgoing President Sajan Kashyap, Law Offices of Sajan Kashyap.
