National Association of Professional Women Announces Melissa J. Sullam, Owner of Investor Transition MGT Group, as VIP Woman of the Year

Melissa J. Sullam is recognized as an NAPW VIP Woman of the Year for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession.

Melissa J. Sullam is owner of Investor Transition MGT Group, which specializes in property management and wholesale real estate. Ms. Sullam has attained the highest level of membership to the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) as a VIP Woman of the Year and has been recognized for outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession.

Ms. Sullam was working in New York, successfully managing hair salons, when she received a telephone call from her father. He wanted her to join him in his property management business, THS of South Florida. Although she hesitated at first, Ms. Sullam eventually decided to take a chance and she made the move down south in 2010.

Working side by side with her father, Ms. Sullam helped to steadily grow the company. In 2012, she made the leap into entrepreneurship and left to open her own business, Investor Transition MGT Group.

“We aid investors in transitioning newly purchased properties into cash-flow rentals. We specialize in section 8 rentals,” said Ms. Sullam.

In addition to helping investors, first-time or seasoned, through the purchasing and rental processes, Ms. Sullam and her staff at Investor Transition MGT Group manage all stages including obtaining and managing tenants, handling paperwork as well as arranging for regular inspections required for section 8 housing. The group also manages and acquires its own real estate investments.

In less than one year, Ms. Sullam skillfully guided her company as it acquired over 100 units and will no doubt achieve her goal of acquiring 300 units. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to succeed, Ms. Sullam will continue to keep pace with and succeed in the exciting and challenging real estate industry.
