We have always focused on regional metro markets, but are in great anticipation of utilizing the entire expanse of the network, particularly for service transport to the major facilities along the route.
Warrington, PA (PRWEB) April 30, 2013
Sunesys announced today that it has connected the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh regional markets with a statewide fiber broadband network. Major cities along the path include: Philadelphia, Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, State College, Altoona, Pittsburgh, Erie, Allentown, and Reading.
The completed network will provide increased access in the sectors of education, healthcare, enterprise, and carriers to dedicated fiber strands and high bandwidth connections along the backbone. The network will also allow Sunesys to expand services throughout the state.
“The completion of this network represents a new step in the evolution of Sunesys’ offerings in Pennsylvania, “ said Senior Vice President, Alan Katz. “Sunesys is now able to offer a full range of services from 100 Mbps to 100 Gbps, as well as dark fiber, across the entire state.”
“Sunesys is excited to connect two of our largest metro markets and we look forward to continuing to expand our footprint throughout the state,” continued Sunesys President, Larry Coleman. “We have always focused on regional metro markets, but are in great anticipation of utilizing the entire expanse of the network, particularly for service transport to the major facilities along the route.”
Sunesys currently operates over 4,500 miles of cable in Pennsylvania and over 8,300 miles in nine states across the country. Sunesys’ entire footprint is available for download in Google Earth format here: http://sunesys.com/locations/.
