NAPW honors Louise B. Peele as a 2013/2014 Professional Woman of the Year for leadership in health and wellness. As the largest, most-recognized organization of women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women is a powerfully vibrant networking community with nearly 500,000 members and over 400 Local Chapters.
“Although I am a certified nurse practitioner, I’m not practicing medicine, I’m practicing wellness,” says Ms. Peele. After spending 37 years in the medical field, Ms. Peele began a different, non-medical approach to healthcare with her nutraceutical practice promoting health and wellness “from the inside out.” She has been with the company as a franchise partner of Make Life Better Team Global Unicity International since February and has not looked back since.
In her role as a health and wellness consultant, Ms. Peele educates clients of all ages on the importance all-natural products that decrease metabolic syndrome. She considers her business a nutrition education product company, offering guidance to assist individuals in becoming better and reach their prime in health, and has already experienced first-hand how these products truly transform her clients’ lives.
Prior to this change of course in her career, Ms. Peele has devoted many years of her life in pediatric primary care as faculty of many prestigious medical schools and has been recognized by the esteemed pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline for her contributions to the development of community health centers. From all these feats, she regards her current work as her truest passion and happiness. “We want everyone to be better. The idea is to help people become the healthiest they can possibly be in mind, body, spirit and nutritional health,” says Ms. Peele.
