Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) March 05, 2013
Today, an enterprise service bus (ESB) is critical for organizations implementing service-oriented architecture (SOA) best practices and solving SOA anti-patterns of isolation, uniqueness and duplication. WSO2 will present a technical webinar to discuss how WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus 4.6 helps IT professionals to optimize and extend their SOA implementations through expanded capabilities, superior performance, and a small footprint measured in megabytes.
The one-hour technical session, “WSO2 Advantage Webinar – How the WSO2 ESB outperforms Major Open Source ESB Vendors,” will run Thursday, March 14, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. PST. The WSO2 ESB Advantage
The webinar will review key features and core capabilities of WSO2 ESB. The session will then explore how version 4.6 significantly improves performance over previous versions and performs better than other comparative ESBs in most scenarios. Additionally, it will discuss new enhancements, including making Pass Through Transport (PTT) the default transport, improving the mediation engine to be content-aware, focusing on XPath support for content-based routing, and a significantly improved XSLT capability called “Fast XSLT” to provide faster streaming transformation when used with the PTT.
Webinar topics will include:
Jointly presenting the webinar will be Dushan Abeyruwan and Kasun Indrasiri, both members of the WSO2 integration technologies team who focus on WSO2 ESB. Dushan is a WSO2 senior software engineer who contributes to the Apache Synapse open source ESB project and has conducted WSO2 QuickStart consulting engagements around WSO2 ESB. Kasun is a WSO2 associate technical lead, who has provided technology consulting on customer engagements, helping to successfully implement solutions for integrating Web services, SAP, FIX, and mobile services.
