SharePoint Solutions has launched two non-technical SharePoint 2013 introductory courses for using SharePoint 2013 or Office 365 SharePoint. The two-day course, covering just the core fundamentals (Part 1) and the four-day course, covering the core fundamentals and additional features (Parts 1 and 2), will be offered beginning July 17 in Nashville and live online.

“If you’re a business professional looking for a ‘SharePoint for Beginners’ course or an IT professional needing to learn about SharePoint 2013 from the end user side, these were created with you in mind,” said Ricky Spears, senior instructor for SharePoint Solutions.

The two-day “Using SharePoint 2013 or Office 365 SharePoint – Part 1” course is an experiential “first look” at SharePoint 2013’s most basic and most commonly used features. It’s designed as a jump-start introduction for business professionals who have not previously used SharePoint.

The four-day “Using SharePoint 2013 or Office 365 SharePoint – Parts 1 and 2” course provides a complete hands-on introduction to SharePoint 2013’s many features, capabilities, business uses and benefits. Loaded with hands-on lab exercises, this “101-level” course provides a solid foundation to use SharePoint 2013 or Office 365 SharePoint confidently and effectively.

Each course has a comprehensive manual which includes a distillation of the lecture content, the PowerPoint slides and the hands-on lab exercises that walk students through the SharePoint experience, click-by-click.

“These courses provide practical hands-on training from friendly and helpful expert instructors, in an engaging and enjoyable classroom setting,” Spears said. “This is training that really makes a difference.”

Based in Nashville, Tenn., SharePoint Solutions is a Microsoft Certified Partner and a nationwide leader in expert-led, in-person and online public classes on SharePoint products and technologies.
