CEP enables enterprises to immediately identify interesting event occurrences, ensuring an optimal use of event patterns.
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) January 17, 2013
Complex event processing (CEP) enables enterprises to immediately identify interesting event occurrences, ensuring an optimal use of event patterns. However, many businesses struggle to achieve real-time processing that seamlessly integrates with service-oriented architecture (SOA) environments. As a result, IT organizations often spend more time building tightly coupled workaround solutions that compromise the flexibility of the SOA. To help IT professionals address this challenge, WSO2 will present a webinar that examines how to optimize data processing with the WSO2 Complex Event Processor (WSO2 CEP).
The one-hour technical session, “WSO2 Product Release Webinar – Simplifying the Complexities of Data Processing with the WSO2 Complex Event Processor,” will run Thursday, January 24, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. PST. For more information, visit http://wso2.org/library/webinars/2013/01/wso2-product-release-webinar-simplifying-complexities-data-processing-wso2-complex-event-processing.
The webinar will begin with an introduction to the WSO2 CEP, including key features and core capabilities. Then the session will examine how the WSO2 CEP integrates into the SOA environment; achieves high availability, persistence and scalability; and can be combined with the WSO2 Business Activity Monitor for future processing. The webinar also will review the WSO2 CEP’s capabilities for addressing critical data processing needs, as well as discuss the Siddhi Runtime complex event processing engine on which WSO2 CEP is based.
Webinar presenter Suhothayan Sriskandarajah is a WSO2 software engineer and member of the WSO2 data technologies team, who works on the WSO2 CEP. In addition product development, Suhothayan has provided technology consulting on customer engagements, including customer QuickStartTM programs focused on SAP integration.
