SupportPoint 9 product release packed with performance, productivity and reporting enhancements

The success of this SupportPoint release marks another big step along our roadmap to the continued delivery of a world class product in an ever-expanding global market.

Panviva today announced the release of SupportPoint V9, packed with performance, productivity and reporting enhancements that further positions its software as the world’s leading Business Process Guidance system.

Panviva CIO, Ben Cordeiro, attributes the success of this latest release to the ongoing enthusiasm and feedback from SupportPoint users. “We have our brilliant SupportPoint community to thank for many of the new features in V9. By collaborating with users working at the coal face of their organizations, we are better placed to meet our ongoing commitment to customer-led innovation and enhanced usability.”

In recognition of the ongoing evolution of user interface trends, SupportPoint V9 debuts a new Quicklinks feature that has been designed to meet increasing user expectation around visual navigation. Targeting users accustomed to mobile devices and modern user interfaces, Quicklinks create a visually appealing interface through the use of tiles or icons that work in a similar fashion to smart phones and tablet devices.

Cordeiro continued, “We also appreciate the imperative of our customers to fully understand how their employees are using SupportPoint to provide a better customer experience. V9 offers our users the added flexibility of being able to customize reports using the Business Intelligence tool of their choice in conjunction with SupportPoint. By creating a separate analytics database our customers can now mine their data and create reports suited to their exact purpose.”

In an industry first, Panviva has also made a significant breakthrough with context sensitivity into Citrix-deployed applications, making SupportPoint an even more attractive proposition for enterprise and BPO customers.

Cordeiro says, “SupportPoint’s unique context sensitivity functionality is extended in V9 so that it operates seamlessly for organizations working with Citrix applications. No matter how complex the Citrix environment, SupportPoint has an unrivalled ability to deliver only the most relevant information to employees, helping our users provide the highest levels of service to their customers.”

This latest version also caters to SupportPoint’s popularity with larger organizations by providing a greater range of scalability options. To address the needs of organizations running mission critical applications, multiple SupportPoint servers can now be deployed in a cluster to provide optimal resource utilization by maximizing throughput and offering greater redundancy.

Cordeiro concludes, “All-in-all, SupportPoint V9 is a release that all of us at Panviva are extremely proud of. The success of this release marks another big step along our roadmap to the continued delivery of a world class product in an ever-expanding global market.”
