“We encourage our employees to give back in any way they can, and support public service as part of our culture here at Statêra,”
Carl Fitch, CEO, Statêra

Employees at Statêra, “We Make Cloud and IT Services Easy™,” are encouraged to give back to the community and participate in community service projects. Alex Teusink, Technical Project Manager for Statêra, went beyond U.S. borders to participate in a humanitarian medical trip to New Delhi, India in cooperation with Kingdom Come Partners, The group offers religious and non-religious community outreach, and arranges medical mercy missions.

Alex helped a team of doctors and nurses to provide medical treatment and medication to 5,200 people in the slums of New Delhi and food for 20 families for a full year. Every person that came through the clinic had vital signs such as their oxygen level, blood pressure, blood sugar levels, temperature, height and weight checked and their ears cleaned. The group also distributed donated medicine and prescriptions as required, including cough medicine, pain medicine, ointments and creams. Every participant also received liquid protein, liquid vitamins and lunch. Some of the areas the group served were very remote with no roads, electricity or running water.

In addition, Alex worked with a home for girls sponsored by Kingdom Come Partners. The home rescues girls ages 3 to 12 from being sold by their parents into the sex trade. There, the girls receive shelter, food, clothing, medication and an education. During her trip, Alex helped to take in a few new girls as well as spend time with the 60 girls saved so far in this one home.

“Our CEO, Carl Fitch, was very supportive and very excited to highlight my trip and help me to get visibility for the organization,” remarked Alex Teusink, Consultant, Statêra.

“We encourage our employees to give back in any way they can, and support public service as part of our culture here at Statêra,” said Carl Fitch, CEO, Statêra.
