Fans looking for 2013 Super Bowl tickets will be pleased to discover that SuperbTicketsOnline.com has announced an increase in its ticket inventory. The organization is offering seats in all price ranges, including suites and 50-yard line seats, for the 5:30 p.m. CST game on Feb. 3. It will be seventh played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. The stadium will be the first to play host to that many games.

The two participating teams will be battling for the greatest honor in professional football, the lifting of the Vince Lombardi Trophy to the domed stadium’s rafters. The trophy has been awarded to the game’s winner ever since the first edition was played in January 1967. The Green Bay Packers won the first two titles. The trophy was named for the legendary Green Bay coach prior to the 1971 game after he suddenly passed away the previous year. The Pittsburgh Steelers have the most Vince Lombardi trophies with six. Eighteen of the NFL's 32 teams have claimed the trophy at least once.

Some of those who purchase tickets to this game will also decide to buy tickets to the NFL Experience. The one in the Crescent City will be the 21st. It will take place at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The facility is located just over a mile to the southeast of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. An interactive theme park, a memorabilia show and displays will be here. Autograph sessions will also take place at the facility.

Most of those traveling to New Orleans will be taking a plane into Louis Armstrong New Orleans Airport. It is conveniently located just 10 miles west of downtown. The airport was named for the jazz musician Louis Armstrong. Planes arrive here direct from large and small cities located throughout the United States, and the vast majority of travelers will be able to reach New Orleans with at most one transfer. Southwest and United Airlines operate many of the planes that serve the airport.
