Cision, a leading provider of PR, social software and insight services, today announced that it acquired Gorkana Group Limited, a top U.K.-based media intelligence and data insights service provider, through its parent, Discovery Group Holdings Limited. This announcement comes on the heels of Cision’s recent combination with Vocus and its acquisition of Visible Technologies.

Gorkana Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Thompson will join the Cision executive management team as EMEA Managing Director.
