It’s critical that we offer a sophisticated yet simple-to-use website that benefits our clients with useful, time-saving features—like the MTR Library.
Springfield, MO (PRWEB) January 14, 2014
Holloway America today announced an addition to its website: a comprehensive database of material test reports (MTRs) for all pressure vessels and tank parts the company designs and fabricates. Documenting test results is particularly important for equipment that must meet ASME, CE, PED, NR-13 and other regulations. The MTR Library features search functionality that allows authorized users to quickly locate and download copies of their original MTRs. HOLLOWAY Director of Marketing Randy Colwell believes the website update will benefit busy clients. “We’re always striving to improve our reputation for unparalleled service,” Colwell stated. “Ensuring immediate access to MTRs when the need arises is another way to save our clients time and effort.”
As a leader in pressure vessel design and fabrication, HOLLOWAY has thousands of material tests reports for large and small projects. To date, the MTR Library houses 9,150 files—2.27 GB of data. Colwell and other HOLLOWAY leaders collaborated directly with the company’s website design and development agency to establish a simple, efficient search process before the agency built the online library. The database features a comprehensive indexing system for MTRs. This system allows authorized personnel to search for an MTR by entering the document file number, which HOLLOWAY representatives provided the client when delivering the product. The system responds by displaying a downloadable digital copy of the original MTR.
Colwell also addressed the need to ensure the MTR Library remains current as the company fabricates additional pressure equipment such as ASME tanks and parts: “We recognize that a document database can quickly become outdated and lose value, so we’ve established an internal process to ensure the MTR Library remains up to date. As we complete each project, our sales engineers will submit digital copies of the MTRs to our website development agency, which has scheduled time to upload and index the new files each month.”
Holloway America has always maintained detailed testing documentation of its pressure vessel material and provided quick access to MTRs upon client request. By creating a digital version of its existing MTR Library, the company is further meeting industry demand for online solutions to common needs. Colwell said, “Professionals in the processing industry always look to streamline their workflow and save time that can be better spent. That means they often adopt the latest in software and technology, so they’re used to the convenience of online solutions. With that in mind, it’s critical that we offer a sophisticated yet simple-to-use website that actually benefits our clients with useful, time-saving features—like the MTR Library.”
