The teams at the Legal 500 recommended solicitors Duncan Lewis’ London offices conducted a charity food run on the 12th January 2014.
All proceeds culminated from the food run were to be donated to the Southall based charity S.W.A.T (Sikh Welfare Awareness Team), who are a multi-cultural progressive charity focused on tackling social issues such as substance awareness, crime diversion and providing prevention, protection and resources to aid the homeless.
Duncan Lewis’ efforts raised “over 11 large boxes” which included a generous amount of dry food donations and potatoes and wraps; which constituted to the preparation and distribution of over 200 warm wraps for homeless members of the public.
Several members of Duncan Lewis’ team took part in the distribution of the hot wraps with the S.W.A.T team.
Duncan Lewis’ work with S.W.A.T is just one of a number of recent charitable events that Duncan Lewis Solicitors have taken part in. In November the team’s at Duncan Lewis’ London offices took part in a "Wear it Pink" day for the charity Breast Cancer Campaign.
Duncan Lewis raised £745.50 which was donated to the charity to help towards developing treatments for breast cancer.
Duncan Lewis have a charity committee which helps to organize and takes part in charitable events and causes on a regular basis, and have housing solicitors that assist with legal matters that can contribute towards homelessness.
