Kevin Smith, SolarReserve’s CEO will present a case study with real performance data on the 110MW power plant at MENASOL this May. Mr Smith recently stated to CSP Today that SolarReserve is “committed to furthering support of its strong partnerships in MENA through the establishment of a regional hub that begins with an on-the-ground presence in Dubai.”
Kevin will be joined by Philip Hale, Director of Development, who will lead SolarReserve’s development activities for the MENA region. Philip has also said to CSP Today that he looks forward to “helping SolarReserve bring reliable 24/7 renewable energy solutions to a high potential market in MENA that is worth trillions of dollars.”
This trend of setting up of regional hubs in the Middle East has also recently been seen by other international CSP developers such as Abengoa and GDF Suez , who will be speaking about creating local partnerships in the MENA markets at MENASOL.
