The Valley Health System to Build Hospital in Henderson, Nevada

The Valley Health System announced plans today to construct a new acute-care hospital in Henderson, Nevada. The hospital will offer high-demand medical care, including general surgery, emergency and specialty services. It will be constructed on a parcel of land located at U.S. 95 and Galleria Drive in Henderson and will be the anchor of the Union Village complex.

Located in Henderson, Nevada, Union Village will be the first integrated health village in the world. The new hospital will join five other hospitals of The Valley Health System, which are owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. They include Centennial Hills, Desert Springs, Spring Valley, Summerlin and Valley hospitals, all located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
