The Diagnostics Marketing Association (DxMA) welcomes three new Board members to their Board of Directors to serve in 2014 and 2015. The new Directors on the Board include Karen Alvarado, Ann Cave and Harry Glorikian.
Karen Alvarado, a past president of the DxMA, will not only serve as a Director on the Board, but as Treasurer as well. She is currently the Principal of KAESA Consulting, a firm that assists clients on issues of business development, planning, strategy and marketing. Alvarado has previously worked for In Virto Diagnostic leaders such as Sequenom, Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Diagnostic Products Corporation, Hybritech and Technicon. Her vast experience and expertise in creating effective marketing campaigns and launching products will be an asset to the DxMA Board.
Ann Cave, currently the Executive Vice President of Business Development and Account Services at Cramer, joins the Board as a Director and as the Chair of the DxMA’s Annual Conference committee. Cave has over 20 years of strategic planning and marketing experience, specifically in cross-channel planning and audience engagement. While her client work spans a broad range of industries, her expertise is in medical marketing communications, focusing on diagnostics and medical device.
Harry Glorikian joins the DxMA Board with more than two decades of experience building successful business ventures globally. Currently, Glorikian is the Managing Director and Head of Consulting Services at Scientia Advisors. He has previously worked for BioGenex Laboratories, PE Applied Biosystems and founded X-Cell Laboratories. Glorikian is known for his achievements in life sciences, healthcare, and healthcare IT, but his passion is inventing. Glorikian will also be a member of the DxMA’s Professional Seminars committee.
Not only did the DxMA welcome three new Board members, they also approved five Board members for second terms. Linda Brunner (VP Web Operations Management at Siemens Healthcare), Debra Harrsch (President and CEO of Brandwidth Solutions), Ken Levy (Associate Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine), Bob McGonnagle (Publisher of CAP TODAY) and Keith Ward (Principal and Creative Director at Eyeriss Creative) will continue to serve on the DxMA Board through 2015.
The next DxMA Board of Directors meeting will be held in conjunction with the DxMA’s annual conference, The Global Marketing Summit, April 16 – 17, 2014 in San Francisco, CA.
