Former Assistant United States Attorney Joins The Willis Law Group

The Willis Law Group is pleased to announce the addition of W. Glenn Burns as a partner and the leader of its New Orleans’ office. Burns’ is a former Assistant Attorney General for Louisiana and a former Assistant United States Attorney in New Orleans.

The Willis Law Group PLLC is pleased to announce W. Glenn Burns has joined the firm as a partner and the leader of its New Orleans’ office.

Burns is an experienced litigator who has taken more than 80 jury trials to verdict. With more than 40 years of litigation experience, Glenn will focus his practice on the defense of insureds and direct clients in such complex areas of representation as mass torts, class actions, qui tam (whistleblower) cases and death actions. Burns’ practice also includes white collar criminal defense where he has extensive experience in internal investigations for major corporations in the fields of construction, shipbuilding, aerospace, maritime, insurance and national and local medical institutions when their companies come under the scrutiny of investigative and regulatory agencies. He has defended individuals and companies to verdict in both state and federal criminal matters including bankers, public figures and businessmen.

Prior to joining the The Willis Law Group, Burns was a partner in the New Orleans law firm of Hailey, McNamara, Hall, Larmann & Papale. He received his J.D. from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert School of Law in 1973. He received a B.S. in Pre-Law Studies from Louisiana State University in 1971.
