San Diego, CA (PRWEB) February 10, 2014
Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc.(OTC Markets: VEND), North America's leading healthy vending franchisor, sponsored and presented its healthy vending brand, products and services to Peak Campus management and employees during the 8th Annual Leadership Conference, January 27 – 29th, in New Orleans. Fresh Healthy Vending representatives attended the conference to showcase the value of incorporating healthy snack vending into both existing and future student-living communities.
According to Conference Coordinator Toni Martinides, the purpose of the conference is to provide an environment for potential vendors and Peak Campus property employees and executives to interact and educate each other on needs and services. The ideal outcome is that the properties find vendor services that will enhance the operation of the property and, conversely, the vendors are given an opportunity to expand their customer base.
“We host the conference every year and it is always well received,” said Martinides. “We were delighted to have Fresh Healthy Vending be a part of the event this year since its products and services support our Health and Wellness initiatives.”
Peak Campus provides top-of-the-line living communities for university students, ranging from Maine to California. The company currently manages over 28,000 beds, at 56 assets, valued at over $1.8 billion for investors in key college markets. Its comprehensive portfolio encompasses all student housing property types: privately owned, university sponsored, start-up, stabilized, and transitional distressed assets.
"Peak Campus locations and teams across the country are centered around living active and healthy lifestyles, so it was exhilarating to interact with such an innovative and forward-thinking company; one with such similar values to Fresh Healthy Vending, when it comes to healthy options for its residents,” said Jillian Ahlers, wellness ambassador for Fresh Healthy Vending. “Being at the conference, as the only healthy vending brand represented, was the best way to showcase our value as an experienced leader in the industry and an ideal option for Peak Campus facilities.”
Attendees of the 8th annual conference were all of the company’s property managers and assistant property managers, as well as regional vice presidents, regional managers department heads and the Peak Campus President. Approximately 136 employees and executives were in attendance, representing 54 properties nationwide.
“Overall, we received nothing but positive feedback and inquiries for making Fresh Healthy Vending available to these widely divergent student properties. We were gratified to see Peak Campus executives enjoying our snacks samples so much that they inquired about installing machines in their corporate office in addition to the machines they were interested in placing for their student housing facilities,” said Ahlers.
