Fort Worth, TX (PRWEB) February 10, 2014

Texas-based gold dealer Certified Gold Exchange has announced a gold coin design contest that will be held via Facebook and Twitter. CGE spokesperson Janet Jones said Monday that users of those social networks have until close-of-business on Friday, February 14, 2014, to submit their gold coin ideas by posting them on the official Certified Gold Exchange, Inc., Facebook and/or Twitter pages.

“A lot of new gold coin designs have been announced recently, such as the Charlie Chaplin gold coins and the Royal Canadian Mint’s Snowy Owl gold and silver coins,” said Jones. “Coins that are limited-edition, commemoratives or collectibles have grown in popularity during the current gold cycle and we want to see which coins our clients would like the chance to own.”

A team of CGE employees will act as judges to choose one design, and the coin’s designer will have the opportunity to write a guest blog for Certified Gold Exchange explaining why their gold coin idea should become reality. “The winning idea might be a coin that appeals to a wide range of buyers or it could be something with lots of personal significance to the designer,” said Jones. “We haven’t made a decision on whether any coin submissions will actually be minted but we are hopeful that the winning design will spark demand by investors and collectors,” Jones added.
