Shilpa Marano is the new Director of Marketing at nChannel

nChannel, a Columbus, Ohio-based cloud-based retail management platform provider for multi-channel sales retailers, has promoted Shilpa Marano to Director of Marketing. In her new role, Marano will lead efforts to promote the company’s industry-specific solutions for retailers selling through multiple sales channels, such as eCommerce, brick-and- mortar stores, and online marketplaces.

Marano is a 19-year sales and marketing, retail and eBusiness veteran. She spent the first five years of her career specializing in selling exclusively to small to medium supply chain partners of big box retailers, and became a multi-year member of the President’s Club. During her 12-year tenure at Sterling Commerce, Marano was a highly successful sales executive and also served as product manager, product marketing manager, and eBusiness Advisor for strategic accounts including Toyota, General Mills and FedEx.

She also owned an independent consulting business for several years, helping small businesses maximize their online traffic through web design, promotion, and content generation. Marano worked with a variety of B2B marketing and PR firms to provide marketing guidance to large high-tech clients as well as small- and medium-sized businesses.
