Norfolk, VA (PRWEB) February 12, 2014

boats.com, the global online resource for boat enthusiasts and a division of Dominion Marine Media, today launched a buyer’s resource for new boats called “Boat Reviews 2013.” The downloadable PDF includes links to 204 written reviews, 16 video reviews, and 50 “First Look” videos produced by boats.com in 2013. It also features the “10 Top Boats of 2013” in five categories: fishing, pontoons, cruisers, runabouts and sail.

“We built a large library of reviews in 2013,” said John Burnham, Dominion Marine Media editorial director, “and we asked five of our reviewers to choose their favourites in each category. Nobody reviews more boats than we do, so this represents an excellent overview of the industry to date.”

The five categories are:

10 Top Fishing Boats (by Lenny Rudow)

10 Top Cruisers (by Jeanne Craig)

10 Top Pontoons (by Jeff Hemmel)

10 Top Sailboats (by Zuzana Prochazka)

10 Top Runabouts (by Brett Becker)

The boats.com editorial team has a long-standing commitment to cover the new boat market and has produced 1,700 boat reviews over the last decade. The team includes specialists in all types of boats, and benefits from having reviewers in both North America and Europe. The volume of coverage continues to increase, with boats.com publishing 22 boat reviews and videos in the first five weeks of 2014.
