Harrisonburg, VA (PRWEB) February 13, 2014

Online education and skills assessment resource Approved Colleges (http://www.ApprovedColleges.com) announced today that T.E.A.L. - Tell Every Amazing Lady about ovarian cancer has joined its charity program (http://Charity.ApprovedColleges.com), providing T.E.A.L. with its own online education and assessment portal to be introduced and used by supporters and followers. A percentage of any sale from the site will go towards ovarian cancer research and awareness programs.

“Philanthropic endeavors are very important to Approved Colleges, I lost my mother to cancer in 2009 and it’s my hope that our work with organizations such as T.E.A.L. may help to save someone else’s mother, daughter, or sister,” said Founder Tony Huffman. “Every person benefits from education and this partnership brings together something most people need with a charitable cause that is important to everyone. Through this arrangement people are able to channel more funding towards ovarian cancer research while bettering themselves through education.”

Supporters are able to visit a T.E.A.L. branded version of Approved Colleges website where they can find thousands of online skill assessment tests, professional development and career courses, and online degree programs.

Tell Every Amazing Lady or T.E.A.L. was started in 2009 by Louisa M. McGregor and her sister, Pamela Esposito-Amery, following Louisa’s diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer the previous year. As the sisters came to understand the disease, they learned why the prognosis for this type of cancer is poor; it’s because of a lack of knowledge, understanding, and tools for successful early detection when survival chances are best. The reason is attributable to lack of funding. T.E.A.L.'s mission benefits Ovarian Cancer research through raising awareness and fundraising. Their fundraising efforts encompass their annual signature event, the “T.E.A.L. Walk/Run” as well as other events throughout the year. Since 2009, T.E.A.L. has raised just under a million dollars directly benefiting Ovarian Cancer research and awareness programs.

“T.E.A.L. is excited to partner with Approved Colleges to offer a unique opportunity to fundraise and raise awareness,” said Pamela Esposito-Amery, Co-founder and Executive Director.
