Amerinet, Inc., a leading national healthcare solutions organization, today announced a new multi-year, sole-source agreement with Yavapai Regional Medical Center, which continues the group purchasing and healthcare services partnership between the two organizations for a period of five years, effective January 1, 2014.

Founded in 1942, and based in Prescott, Ariz., Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) is a state-of-the-art healthcare system with two acute care hospitals, a network of primary and specialty care clinics, outpatient health and wellness centers, cardiac diagnostic centers and outpatient medical imaging centers.

“Due to the continuing changes in the healthcare market, we decided it would be prudent to undertake a careful evaluation of our partnerships,” said John Amos, president and CEO, YRMC. “In a very competitive environment, Amerinet once again proved its value and commitment as a partner in our efforts to bring quality, affordable healthcare to the patients we serve.”

With the new agreement, the two organizations will continue collaborating on the development and implementation of process improvement and cost reduction initiatives in areas including physician preference items, medication management and regional aggregation initiatives. Amerinet also provides YRMC with on-site contract utilization assistance in order to maximize savings, as well as an opportunity to provide strategic direction that shapes the overall value of Amerinet programs through participation in Amerinet’s member input groups.

“The renewal of this relationship illustrates the value we offer to our members,” said Todd Ebert, Amerinet president and CEO. “More than just contract savings, we seek to become a true partner with our members, delivering customer-focused solutions based on value, innovation and ease of use to drive operational excellence in healthcare.”
