Academic & Collegiate Software Solutions announced today that it has signed an agreement with Qmatic Corporation (Qmatic), the global leader in Customer Flow Management, to offer education systems self-service technology that manages student flow before, during, and after a student visit. Qmatic solutions help education organizations improve the student experience with shorter, more informative wait times, and operational efficiency through better resource management. The solutions will be offered by ACSS through its partnership agreement, which will further expand the student experience and educational software that ACSS delivers through its 350+ publisher network.
With Qmatic’s student flow management, the process begins when students check in using a registration point-of-service device (kiosk) and are then placed in the appropriate service queue. Students are informed of their estimated wait time and can track their status on monitors strategically placed for easy viewing, or with text messages that eliminate restrictive waiting in designated locations. Providing students the means to monitor their progress promotes a relaxed environment with a controlled and fair waiting process. Additionally, Qmatic technology allows staff members to electronically track students in queue, call them for service, and transfer them to other queues or departments. This ensures that students are efficiently routed through the organization following check-in. Qmatic technology seamlessly ensures that the right student is routed to the right place at the right time.
“Qmatic strives to create remarkable experiences for education organizations and give time back to the students and education professionals who use our solutions,” said Thomas Sareyko, CEO of Qmatic’s United States and Canada subsidiaries. “We’re excited about our partnership with ACSS, which will enable us to now offer integration with education software solutions and further enhance the education experience for providers and students.”
“Student-facing self-service is crucial to building loyalty in today’s competitive education industry, as students demand the convenience and choice that the technology offers,” said Karen Sheard, ACSS CEO. “The collaboration of Qmatic and ACSS will transform the students’ visit by placing more focus on them without adding unnecessary burden on registration staff, resulting in increased operational efficiency and improved student satisfaction.”
Qmatic leads the way in maximizing face-to-face customer touch point opportunities. Qmatic’s solutions integrate the virtual/on-line and the real world, to help generate a seamless customer experience.
