BRC Global Standards Expands Its Team in the Americas

BRC Global Standards is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to the BRC team in the Americas.

With these appointments, we demonstrate our commitment to the development of food safety certification throughout Latin America.

Luis Arturo Saucedo, based in Mexico, and Miguel Gortari, based in Uruguay, are long-time supporters of the BRC Global Standards program. They will act as a local contact points and provide local technical expertise for businesses in Mexico and South America.

Luis Arturo Saucedo has many years of experience in the food industry, specifically in food safety program development and auditing. He is a BRC Approved Training Provider, is fluent in Spanish and English and is based in Puebla, Mexico. Luis works closely with the food industry, certification partners and the Mexican government on many aspects of food safety.

Miguel Gortari has been involved in the food industry for over 25 years. He is an expert in food safety and audit methodology with a background in both veterinary sciences and formal audit specialization. Miguel is a BRC Approved Training Provider (since 2003), and is fluent in Spanish and English. He is based in Montevideo, Uruguay, and works throughout Latin America in a wide range of industries.
