Mega Photo, a photo editing app created by independent developer Paul Falstad, officially launched this week in the iTunes and Google Play stores. Mega Photo allows users to customize their photos in a truly unique way by offering hundreds of interactive effects and eye-popping filters.

“I wanted to develop something simple, suitable for all ages, and include some unique features that would dazzle the user’s friends and family,” said Paul Falstad, founder of Mega Photo.

Using the Live Camera Feed, Mega Photo allows users to customize their photos in real-time before they are even taken, and play with such interactive effects as a tile puzzle, spinning cube, and more. The timer feature is great for snapping a photo with a group of friends as well. Users can further customize their photos by dragging, zooming and rotating the photo to make it more their own creation, then share the work of art via social media, and add filters to photos from their gallery.

“I think the Live Camera Feed is important in this app; it gives the users a more personal, interactive experience when creating their photos, and adds unique characteristics that their friends and family can relate to,” Falstad said.

Mega Photo is available now in the iTunes and Google Play stores.
