David Karels and Paul Johnson have formed G6 Construction Services LLC, a new firm offering construction management, development, consulting, and general contracting services to the Fargo area. Utilizing their vast experience, the two provide a client-centric approach to help clients through the complex processes of construction and development.
G6’s core markets include municipal, production/manufacturing, light industrial (primarily agricultural), education and financial. The company is well positioned to manage large projects, yet is small enough to offer a close, personable level of service.
David Karels serves as president of G6 and is responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from North Dakota State University and offers nearly 25 years of industry experience. In his previous roles, Karels has managed domestic and international construction projects for a range of clients, from small organizations to large Fortune 500 companies. In his past he has held various positions in company operations, including chief operating officer and part-owner of Nor-Son Inc.
“Our mission is to give clients unbiased solutions based on our industry experience and leverage this expertise to be our clients’ provider of choice,” said Karels. “Through our knowledgeable staff and our values of dedication, teamwork, passion and innovation, G6 will assist clients through the entire development and construction process, from start to finish.”
Next, Paul Johnson serves as director of field operations for G6 to manage field staff and ensure a high level of quality. He has worked in the construction industry since 1978 and has broad experience managing projects in multiple industries.
Through his past role as construction manager and superintendent at Nor-Son, Johnson developed a tight working relationship with Karels. “David and I have a strong track record for client satisfaction,” said Johnson. “And our hands-on approach will help us raise the quality of service for our clients.”
