Enfants Perdus 'Blind to All But the Light'

It's wrapping yourself in light, and light comes in a thousand hues and colors.

New York, New York (PRWEB) February 18, 2014

Presented at Enfants Perdus’ showroom under the open skylight of a Manhattan penthouse, the jewelry house’s colorful stones and polished gold were unveiled for the full fall-winter 2014 collection, “Blind to All But the Light” for New York Fashion Week. While key pieces had been shown during pre-fall presentations, this was the first time the full ensemble of jewels was unveiled, including a mix of vibrant bracelets cut from precious stone and 18 karat gold.

Fresh hues such as cobalt blue and radiant orchid and amethyst hues were represented, while somber reds and tiger eye stones added surface texture for a more dynamic approach to the coming season. Pearls – both white and black Tahitian – also made an appearance for the first time since Enfants Perdus’ Milgram collection, integrating the classic into the modern and contemporary approach that had been taken for this latest season.

“We wanted to open a discourse on light and color – the sense of energy that is generated through human interactions and relationships. Jewelry isn’t just worn for aesthetics, but also for a quiet comfort and a reassurance – a sort of modern armor. It’s wrapping yourself in light, and light comes in a thousand hues and colors,” said designer Quatre Tsien.

The collection retails for $180 to $580, and is available online at the Enfants Perdus online shop, as well as select boutiques worldwide.
