Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) February 21, 2014

Architectural Louvers, a manufacturer of louver products for the architectural construction market, announces a new product for hurricane-prone areas: Hurricane Louvers.

“Like our other louver products, hurricane louvers can be used for ventilation or decorative purposes,” says Joe Ray, Architectural Louvers’ President. “The difference is that these new louvers are Florida Miami-Dade certified to provide maximum protection from hurricane-force winds and debris.”

Louvers can be used for many decorative or functional purposes, such as hiding mechanical equipment from view, air intake or exhaust through walls, building ventilation, or for purely decorative purposes.

Architectural Louvers’ hurricane louvers have been tested and proven to be impact-resistant and to withstand high winds. These louvers are available in either standard performance (normal rain resistance) or in a more wind-driven rain resistant design for extreme weather. Both models are equally impact and wind-resistant, but the wind-driven rain model offers better protection against rain infiltration.

Hurricane louvers don’t just offer excellent protection, though – they are also available in a wide variety of decorative finishes and several standard colors. Architectural Louvers can also create custom colors to match any color chip a customer sends in. The hurricane louvers are available with either baked enamel or Kynar 500 finishes, or an anodized aluminum finish.

“We use a computerized color match system to ensure that your hurricane louvers precisely match your building façade and its components,” says Joe Ray. “You can choose an attractive appearance for your hurricane louvers and still feel confident that they will provide the protection your equipment or facility requires.”
