iDrive is created and driven by a marketing company, not a software developer. The key being its integration into the larger marketing picture, including the dealership database, its customer-focused functionality, and its strategy.
“We chose to take a customer-first approach and built iDrive from the ground up, with features and capabilities that drivers want from a dealer app. We set out to create an app that was more likely to be downloaded, kept, and used by our dealership customers. Our philosophy is that if we enhance the relationship between the dealer and the customer, that dealership will grow,” stated Tricia Patton, managing partner and owner of Traffic Builders. “We’ve been in the business of marketing dealerships for 20 years, and the mobile app is simply a new tool that we can offer to dealers to build relationships. It will provide the platform they need to communicate with their customers in a way that their customers prefer.”
iDrive is also a managed app, which differentiates it from many other dealer apps. Traffic Builders (http://www.TrafficBuildersUSA.com) launches, markets, integrates, and strategically communicates with dealership customers through the iDrive app with the same lifecycle targeting they employ in their direct mail and email marketing. The tool is working for the dealership from day one because a marketing expert, focused solely on marketing, manages the day-to-day interface and data management that is such an important part of a dealership app.
iDrive integrates with customer data in the dealer’s database so that its built-in service reminder program and loyalty program are vehicle- and owner-specific. Customer service history can be accessed and stored in the “My Garage” feature and coupons can be stored as well. The app is service oriented but includes real-time vehicle inventory browsing and search functions.
Traffic Builders has always focused on increasing market share for their client base. Their experience in the automotive industry continues to be focused on sales and marketing as well as advancing customer retention. Tricia has been published in Auto Success Magazine and been featured in Louisville Business First for being the owner of one of the 50 fastest-growing companies in Louisville four consecutive years. Since 2012, Traffic Builders has been recognized as a Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
