In early 2013, Hotshots Sports Bar and Grill in St. Charles was destroyed by a fire. After extensive renovations, the restaurant is set to open in early 2014.

After being closed for more than 10 months following a fire that gutted the entire restaurant, Hotshots Sports Bar and Grill, located at 1636 Country Club Plaza Drive in St. Charles, has announced that it will reopen in early 2014.

Director of Operations, Chris Avolio, says the renovations to the restaurant are extensive.

“The restaurant will be twice as big and better than ever,” he said. “It will be a familiar atmosphere, just with a new look. We are trying to recreate the feel and atmosphere of our original location.”

Hotshots was destroyed by a fire on April 6. While the cause of the fire is undetermined, no one was injured and firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to other buildings in the strip mall.

The new location will reopen with a full over-head sprinkler system and state-of-the-art safety equipment.

Hotshots Sports Bar and Grill, based out of St. Louis, Missouri, is a full-service restaurant and an interactive sports venue with pool tables, darts, video games and televisions.
