What’s Next in Small Group Travel? Flexible Pricing
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 03, 2014 -- Introducing people to the exhilaration of wilderness adventure is Bonvoy Adventure Travel’s prime objective. But now there’s one more reason for guests to be excited about traveling with this innovative company.
Bonvoy Adventure Travel in 2014 is asking clients to decide what they’re willing to pay for their journey into the wild. This is the first and only travel company offering Flex Pricing that lets travelers name their own prices on select domestic trips. With more control over travel costs, Sean Jackson, founder and CEO, hopes people can find wiggle room in their budgets for much needed getaways this year.
“Some people really want to escape the daily grind, unwind and have an unforgettable vacation, but sometimes the price gets in the way,” says Jackson. “We want to give everyone the opportunity to travel with us – at the price they feel they can afford.”
Utilizing the simple Flex Pricing box on the reservation page on the company website (http://www.bonvoyadventuretravel.com/), a client tells Bonvoy Adventure Travel the desired discount they want after reviewing the trip itinerary, choosing a date and seeing transparent pricing information that lays out hard costs related to a trip, the markup and asking price. The client then submits the trip package along with the desired discount that will be deducted from the price.
“So far our Flex Pricing model has been enthusiastically embraced by our clientele,” says Jackson. “We didn't know at first how it would work and if it was even sustainable, but we were pleasantly surprised that most who take advantage of it do so fairly without asking for the maximum discount allowed.”
All-inclusive, week-long domestic programs that start at $1,500 per person include setting up and breaking down camp, food and beverage (including beer and wine) and meal preparations, transportation during the trip, airport pickup, deluxe camping gear (cots, tents, sleeping bags, pillows), guides, training and safety sessions prior to activities, a trip host and partnering with ICEdot, an emergency notification service, to provide an extra level of safety during each trip. International trips are two weeks or more in duration and usually include inns and lodges at night. Not included are gratuities to guides and airfare. Domestic trips are normally camping itineraries (except in winter when lodging is utilized) for groups of up to ten participants with two guides.
Domestic trips include, among others, a six-day Winter Sports Adventure to Crested Butte, CO, inclusive of skiing, ice climbing, snow mobiling and zip-lining.
