The New England Food Show, coming up March 16-18, 2014 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, MA, will feature a mixology competition including three of Boston’s top mixologists, right on the exhibit floor. The trade show, which is the largest foodservice, restaurant and retail food trade show in New England, is sponsored primarily by the Massachusetts Restaurant Association, and partners with other regional retail, specialty and hospitality groups.
The New England Food Show’s Mixologist Competition begins at 4:00pm on Sunday, March 16th. The competitors, using three of their own ingredients and one secret liquor ingredient, will create a signature concoction in each round. The 2014 competitors are Sabrina Kershaw of Franklin Café, Mike Wyatt of Ward 8 and Jess Li of Trina’s Starlite Lounge. At the end of this three-round cocktail mix-off, one will be chosen for the title of NEFS 2014 Mixologist of the Year. This event is sponsored by William Grant & Sons, Inc.
