Providing these themes will allow runners to share their progress as they work their way from the training course to the finish line.

Available today in the iPhone app FitSnap, two customized themes that allow those training for marathons and half marathons to overlay photos with text and images. These pictures can be shared with friends through their social channels like Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
Fitsnap users take a new picture or select an existing one from their iPhone, enter basic information about their workout and then select from a variety of skins. These skins display the workout information on top of their picture in a variety of engaging formats.
“Since we released FitSnap, we’ve found that many people use it to share their training runs for races, especially half and full marathons,” said FitSnap founder Bill Rollins. “Providing these themes will allow runners to share their progress as they work their way from the training course to the finish line.”
The Half Marathon and Marathon themes contain skins that are formatted to highlight these distance races. Examples would be cutouts of “13.1” or “26.2” with the user’s photo appearing behind them. There are skins that highlight training days and other skins to celebrate the finish of a race.
FitSnap is a free app and is available worldwide, in several languages, in the Apple App Store. The Half Marathon and Marathon themes are available as in-app purchases.
