BrandManager™ software puts restaurateurs back in control of their restaurant brand

While other online reservation, marketing, review and coupon sites are supposed to be building restaurant business, they are actually eroding a restaurant's own brand by usurping the restaurant's Google rankings with their own brand.

RestaurantConnect™ – an innovative Restaurant Management System Company today announced the release of its BrandManager software. According to a Cornell Center for Hospitality Research (CHR) roundtable held in July 2013, brand management is a steadily growing problem for restaurants. The roundtable identified three factors driving the problem:

  •     demanding customers
  •     intensifying competition, and
  •     increasing influence of social media.

Adam Christopher, CEO and co-founder of RestaurantConnect says the growing body of third party software only adds to brand management problems. “Unfortunately, third party vendors put their own brands first and foremost above their restaurant clients; their business models depend on it,” said Christopher. “While other online reservation, marketing, review and coupon sites are supposed to be building restaurant business, they are actually eroding a restaurant’s own brand by usurping the restaurant’s Google rankings with their own brand. And that’s just the start of it.”

To counteract restaurant’s brand erosion, RestaurantConnect developed BrandManager.
