TWG Plus, LLC is proud to release the College Admissions Cookbook. The Cookbook represents the findings of a survey of approximately 1000 prospective college students. The study found that college-bound students take a selfie approach in their view of the marketing communications sent by the colleges and universities which they are considering.
Through direct surveys with college-bound students, students were asked about their perspectives of recruitment tactics used by colleges and universities. The findings of the study suggest the proper mix of recruitment strategies and practices to maximize recruitment time and investments. Dr. James Vineburgh, Director of Research at TWG Plus and the study author, stated, “Creating effective recruitment materials for colleges is just like cooking: the right ingredients need to be added and mixed at the right time. It is also best to keep it organic. Prospective students don’t want to see staged images of smiling students studying under the sprawling tree on the quad!”
