New location at 68 Main Street in Hanover brings Lake Sunapee Bank and Charter Trust Company together in one location.

March 31, 2014 marks the opening of Lake Sunapee Bank and Charter Trust Company’s combined new office at 68 South Main Street in Hanover. Previously located on South Street since 2007, Lake Sunapee Bank took advantage of this Main Street site because of its highly visible location. Charter Trust has been located at 17 1/2 Lebanon Street.

The office will have full-service banking including a walk-up ATM, night depository, and a dedicated commercial and mortgage lender on site. Charter Trust will offer their wealth management services in a very private section of the office. Both companies will share a state-of-the art conference room, complete with video conferencing and “smart glass” technology, making the room completely private when needed.

Doug Tengdin, Chief Investment Officer of Charter Trust, says, “We are very excited to be moving back to Main Street. Having been part of the Hanover business community for decades, we look forward to the vibrant atmosphere and business climate. We think that our new location will be a benefit to our clients, our staff, and the community.”

Stephen R. Theroux, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lake Sunapee Bank stated: “The coming together of Charter and Lake Sunapee Bank under one roof in this very visible and convenient location in Hanover provides access for one-stop life-cycle financial solutions to the local community. Our commitment to a modern and state-of-the-art facility enhances the customer experience and builds upon our many collective years of serving the Hanover community.”
