Laurel, MD (PRWEB) March 19, 2014
On Friday February 28th, 2014 Thomas Wotten's varsity hockey team won their third straight state title by beating Leonardtown in an impressive fashion, 7-1. The win was the cherry on top of a flawless 16-0 season, ushering in the end of the season in front of a record setting attendance of 1,110 fans, family, and friends. However, The real story of the evening was who could witness the event. TalkingTree Creative brought webcast services to the sporting event which allowed family, friends, and fans of the young athletes who could not be there in person to watch proudly. The video production experts overcame location based network obstacles and provided live-time streaming of the match as well as the entire recorded game within hours that same night so people could view it, share it and search it in full. President of TalkingTree Creative Craig Weisbaum noted, "One parent of a young man playing tonight told me his family in Rhode Island is watching the game tonight." As the word spread the game would be broadcasted online and the the game went into a break between periods, the crowd began to interact with the camera, waving to loved ones and other fans near and far. He continued, "it always feels great to be able to use video technology to bring people together even when they cannot be close physically."
