Menlo College presents its 23rd annual authentic lu`au on Saturday, April 5, 2014. The event will include Hawaiian food, music, and dance featuring 30 Menlo College students and staff. Hawaiian music will be performed by Na Hoku Hanohano award winner, Hoku Zuttermeister.
“This year, the lu’au will be simple island style with the students putting on an amazing performance,” said Jennifer Wright, Manager of Advancement Services and advisor to the Menlo College Hawai`i Club. “We are excited to share our Polynesian culture once again at an event you do not want to miss!" The theme of the lu’au is “Aloha Aku, Aloha Mai,” which means love outward, love inward; love everyone and everything.
