"555 Days of Prayer to Save America" Team Joins "National Back to Church Sunday" Planners in Call for Massive Easter Service Attendance

"Save America Gathering" staff promotes a return to church on Easter Sunday, for brothers and sisters who may have stopped attending. Biblical parallels are drawn between the nations in The Book of Ezekiel, chapters 32 and 33; and the U.S.A., as the 555-day prayer initiative, "555 days of Prayer to Save America," reaches day 382.

Whether you are coming into a church for the first time, the next time, or for "it's about time."

"Save America Gathering" is joining ranks with "National Back to Church Sunday, 2014," to ask that non-church goers, and those who have not recently attended church, accept an invitation to go to church on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014. "National Back to Church Sunday," itself, will be held on September 21, 2014.

Said Robert Berry, spokesman and CEO of "Save America Gathering," "Accept an invitation to celebrate Easter with us. Whether you are coming into a church for the first time, the next time, or, for 'it's about time.' All are welcome to go to the House of The Lord.

Berry, the primary planner of the 382-day-old "555 Days of Prayer to Save America," is the author of the Easter-themed "Ephus and the Praying Bushel [Ephus Tells the Easter Story]." On Easter Sunday, at his home church, Rock Harbor Christian Fellowship, Berry will perform, in character, as Ephus bar Isaiah. Berry is a Deacon and an Elder at the church, in San Pablo, CA.

Berry is also planning a series of men's conferences, called "Man Down Conferences." The first one will be held on May 3, 2014, from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. The conference will also be at Berry's home church, Rock Harbor Christian Fellowship, in San Pablo, California. The Church is pastored by Pastor Portique Wilburn. Says Berry, "Man down is an alarm cry, a rallying outcry for men to come together in response to their brothers' calamities and crises. These are the kind of calamities and crises that have knocked their brothers down and brought about the issues faced by men, whether young, old, single, or married. These are issues for men in the homes and communities of the United States of America. Over the past thirty years, the role of men has been gradually, and, recently, precipitously, marginalized, in American society. Now, men are less educated than women. Men are beginning to lose earning power, as women take over more and more highly paid jobs, and, management/supervisory positions. More and more women are the 'bread-winner' in families. Thinking in a masculine manner has been discouraged, because gender-based thought has been totally discouraged. As a result, many feel we have a society where gender has become muddled, political, fluid, and, to some individuals, problematic. Male children are discouraged from being kinetic. Female children are encouraged to be athletes. Males are discouraged from being 'macho. Female CEO's at Fortune 500 corporations say they want it more than men do and that men give up and compromise too quickly. The CEO's say women will fight for what they want, to the bitter end, by whatever means necessary. Women are teaching young girls to ignore being called bossy and use their leadership qualities. That is a formidable social-dynamic to overcome. Especially when one is spending one’s time looking at internet porn or playing video games. The United States of America has entered into new societal norms. In the new norms, men are, largely, being left out. Women can enter ground combat, if they wish. Men are being told, by events, that they have no distinction, no real 'role' in the U.S.A.; even a traditional role in the U.S.A.’s defense. We propose to discuss the issues that men face. We, also, intend to provide scripture-based solutions for those problems. These are problems such as pornography, infidelity, substance abuse, violence, and selfishness, which are bred by the lifestyles men have been 'advertised' and mislead into following. The "Man Down Conference" is aimed at reversing these negative trends, and promoting a Gospel based life."

Berry continued, "The "Man Down Conference" is designed to pick men back up, in just the manner we would rally, and pick-up a fallen friend. The "Man Down Conference" is also for the restoration of manhood by the power of the Gospel of Jesus, who is Christ. We would like this message to go out, all around the nation, for the restoration of men. I am certain that women will appreciate the outcome. People will follow all types of philosophies. This is the philosophy of the Word of God. We hope that many men can adhere to this 'philosophy,' change their lives, and, thereby, change their places in 21st century society."

Robert Berry added: "Our prayer purpose is, and, has been, to intercede for the United States of America, by the means of systematic, intentional prayers. There will be a total of five key prayer segments, each lasting for one-hundred days. The current 100-day-long segment, a prayer for the purification and restoration of The Church, has reached day 27. We are praying for the U.S.A., because of the decline of The Church in the nation, and, for the redirection of the nation's path, which is too much, to many people's thinking, like the nation mentioned in Ezekiel 32, where the Word of God says: "“‘You are like a lion among the nations; you are like a monster in the seas thrashing about in your streams, churning the water with your feet and muddying the streams;"" and ""Say to them, ‘Are you more favored than others? Go down and be laid among the uncircumcised.’ They will fall among those killed by the sword. The sword is drawn; let her be dragged off with all her hordes."" We seek a different future for this nation than the wrathful punishment of a wayward people. "Save America Gathering" was formed by Christians who believed that they saw a spiritual and moral decline in the U.S.A. accelerating, rapidly. The organization also believes we stand as prophets, to be watchmen and watchwomen over the blessed land given to us, by God."

Berry went on with his explanation. "But, at Ezekiel 33:1-7, The Word says, "The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, speak to your people and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, 3 and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, 4 then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their own head. 5 Since they heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, their blood will be on their own head. If they had heeded the warning, they would have saved themselves. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.’ 7 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people..." We, at "Save America Gathering," feel that we have to put out the warning, or the blood of the nation is on our heads. But, if the nation does not heed what is being told to it by the watchman and the watchwoman, the blood of the nation is on its own head. We feel compelled, by the will of God, Almighty, Himself, to intercede before it is too late."

The planning for the concluding event for the "555 Days of Prayer to Save America," "The Great Wave Offering," has taken on more details. At each waving of the loaves and wheat stalks (at dawn, noon, and sunset), participants are now urged to sing "God Bless America,” after the reading of Psalm 119. "Save America Gathering" is also announcing a recipe contest, for recipes featuring the seven blessed fruits of the earth, as seen in Deuteronomy 8:8. The scripture reads: "a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey." The winning recipe for each of the seven ingredients will be published in one of "Save America Gathering's," or, "One Church // One Voice's" press releases. In addition, the originator of each winning recipe will receive an author-signed copy of "Ephus and the Praying Bushel," which was illustrated by "Save America Gathering" CIO, Toni Berry. CIO, Toni Berry will also sign each winner's book. Participants should use the contact information associated with this press release.
