U.S. News & World Report Ranks MBA Programs at UNC Kenan-Flagler Among the Very Best
Chapel Hill, NC (PRWEB) March 18, 2014 -- U.S. News & World has given top marks to the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School.
It ranked the full-time MBA Program No. 19 in its 2014 rankings, an improvement of one spot from No. 20 last year.
U.S. News also ranked the Executive MBA Program No. 9.
Among its specialty lists, U.S. News ranked UNC Kenan-Flagler:
• No. 10 in accounting
• No. 12 in management
• No. 13 in marketing
• No. 14 in entrepreneurship
• N. 15 in production/operations
• No. 18 in finance
“We are pleased with the rise in rankings of UNC Kenan-Flagler,” said Sridhar Balasubramanian, associate dean of the MBA Program and the Roy and Alice H. Richards Bicentennial Distinguished Scholar and professor of marketing.
“Based on return on investment, Forbes ranked our program moved No. 11 for U.S. business schools – up from 16 its last ranking – and No. 2 for public business schools last fall,” he said.
The full-time program is in a position of strength and poised for even greater success because of many investments in and enhancements to the program and the student experience, he said. These changes include new technology platforms for learning and career management, new career concentrations, an expanded range of elective courses, and continued strengthening of the Leadership Development initiative, for which UNC Kenan-Flagler is already recognized as being among the very best business schools globally.
