Presented by PlayCore’s Center for Professional Development, the event will include sessions that illustrate research-based best practices for making play a priority in communities and inclusive playground design.
Designed for professionals in the fields of park and recreation, landscape architecture, and education, the Grand Prairie Independent School District and Grand Prairie Parks, Arts & Recreation hosted symposium will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be held at the John Dubiski Career Center. Sponsored by Total Recreation Products and GameTime, the sessions will be led by master trainer Jennie Sumrell, Director of Education: Programs, Partnerships & Professional Development, from PlayCore’s Center for Professional Development. The sessions offer Continuing Education Units for professionals and promise to be lively, informative, and educational. Lunch and education resources will be provided.
