Rimage’s 3410 has always been an excellent automated disc publisher, with a great Everest printer built right in.
Exton, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) March 25, 2014
Media Supply, Inc., a leading supplier of data, video and archival publishing solutions, announced its participation in Rimage’s 3410 special pricing promotion. Media Supply and Rimage (now Qumu) are excited to offer the lowest price ever on a professional disc publisher featuring Rimage’s Everest thermal retransfer printer. Now through September 30, 2014, the Rimage 3410 with two CD/DVD drives is specially priced at $4,950, a savings of over $2,200. The Everest 3410 is available in models with one or two Blu-rayTM drives as well, at prices of $4,970 and $4.990, respectively. All Rimage 3410 models are available for purchase on Media Supply’s website or by contacting Media Supply by phone.
“Rimage’s 3410 is an excellent automated disc publisher, with a full color 400 dpi thermal retransfer Everest printer integrated in,” said Frank Quinlisk, Media Supply’s President. “With a price point this low, the Rimage 3410 with permanent Everest printing is the clear choice over any inkjet disc publishing systems.”
The quality and durability of Everest thermal retransfer printing are clearly superior to inkjet disc printing. The Rimage 3410’s integrated Everest thermal retransfer printer permanently fuses a waterproof, scratch-proof, photo-realistic image to the surface of the disc. The process is faster and costs less than inkjet based disc printing systems. With Everest printing, the cost to print each disc is fixed, unlike inkjet systems that can have dramatic variations in print cost, based on quality settings, label coverage, color used, and printer ink saturation setting. The biggest advantage inkjet disc printing systems have is their lower purchase price, and now, Rimage has eliminated the majority of the difference in the initial investment.
The Rimage 3410 comes with Rimage’s disc publishing software, including CD Designer software for label creation, as well as QuickDisc and WebQD software for simple disc publishing. Rimage Software Suite - Network software is also available for the 3410. This optional software allows users to submit print jobs and publishing projects to the 3410 system over a network, in a similar fashion to submitting print jobs to an office copier.
The Rimage 3410 disc publisher is now available for purchase through Media Supply, and can be found on Media Supply’s website at http://www.mediasupply.com/rim4000471-1.html
