Soaring sales at Crave highlights growth in guest service software market

Crave Interactive Ltd, a leading innovator in guest service software solutions for quality hotels, is on track for a 600% increase in sales during 2014 as the market for in-room tablet and mobile App solutions accelerates.

The orders taken by Crave during the first 10 weeks of 2014 have already exceeded the total sales for 2013. “We’re seeing a dramatic increase in the number of hotels implementing Crave’s App and in-room tablet solutions and our sales are at record levels,” explained Gareth Hughes, Founder and CEO of Crave Interactive. “Hotels are taking note of the stunning results from our existing installations and there is no doubt that Apps and in-room tablets are becoming an essential tool for providing an enhanced service to guests. At Crave, we see a future where every Hotel will deliver guest services via Apps, with in-room tablets becoming standard use for high class hotels.”

Crave’s in-room tablets are used by almost all guests, with an average of over 60 page views per guest-room each night. Crave’s software solutions reduce the need for print and clear the room of paper whilst providing a comprehensive range of services and information. These include room service ordering, housekeeping, spa orders and requests, promotion of hotel amenities, multi-lingual directories, comprehensive local area and city guides, 90 international newspapers to view online, live travel information, games and much more.

Crave’s in-room tablets have many advantages over its competitors, including integration with a Hotels’ existing systems and the ability to securely run a number of Apps that are defined and controlled securely by the hotel, so that each new guest is presented with an entirely safe and secure set-up with no possibility of usage data of the previous guest being compromised.
