Support for our nation’s career college students has never been more important than it is today. In the current political and economic climate where the achievement of these students and the schools that support them are often dismissed, events such as the Imagine America Foundation’s (IAF) Annual Golf Tournament offer a direct way for executives within the career college sector to help students succeed.
For the third consecutive year, Gragg Advertising in Kansas City, Mo. will sponsor the IAF 2014 Golf Tournament. Since 2000, the proceeds of the event have been used to underwrite scholarships and awards granted to career college students nationwide. The tournament will take place during the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities (APSCU) 2014 Annual Convention & Exposition in Las Vegas on Monday, June 16. The best ball, shotgun start golf tournament will begin at 8 a.m. at Bali Hai Golf Club.
Priority registration is now open for the Foundation's 21st Century Workforce Fund supporters and schools participating in the Imagine America Scholarship and Award Programs. For all others who are not participating or contributors of the Foundation, registration will open on Monday, April 21, 2014.
“Our sponsorship of this event is particularly important to us because we believe in our nation’s career college students and the mission of the Imagine America Foundation,” said Darryl Mattox, President of Gragg Advertising. “We have always been supporters of the Foundation’s work and it has been our pleasure to provide our support and help others do the same.”
Bali Hai Golf Club is the nationally-ranked course that takes you from the hustle and bustle of the casino floor, to 7,002 yards of tropical golf paradise. Find yourself transported to the tranquility and beauty of the South Pacific, with the Strip still in your sights.
“We are grateful to have such outstanding supporters of the Foundation, such as Gragg Advertising, and the numerous companies, organizations and individuals who participate in this event every year,” said Robert L. Martin, President & CEO of Imagine America Foundation. “There’s no more entertaining way to make a contribution toward these students’ lives than taking to the golf course for this tournament.”
