People are often looking for up-to-date, factual, and detailed information about the consequences of convictions.

Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) April 01, 2014

Raleigh criminal lawyer Damon Chetson announced the launch of a re-designed website for The Chetson Firm designed to provide more comprehensive information to clients and other North Carolinians seeking criminal defense representation.

The website features comprehensive analysis of the law, explanatory videos, commentary on legal reform, and information on treatment and community service options, and is being relaunched this week.

"Whether they're charged with a serious or minor criminal offense, people are often looking for up-to-date, factual, and detailed information about the consequences of convictions," Mr. Chetson said. "The website is provides an overview of North Carolina law, particularly as it is applied in Wake County."

Mr. Chetson stressed that people should not simply rely on what they read on the internet, but should seek out the advice of lawyer in their jurisdiction to understand how the law applies to their specific circumstances.

"The people who hire us often have never been in trouble before," Mr. Chetson, a Raleigh DWI lawyer, added. "They want to know the basic outlines of the law. We've tried to provide as accurate information as possible."

Mr. Chetson has represented more than 800 clients in the past five years, focusing on serious felonies, drug offenses, and Driving While Impaired charges. He has represented clients in both state courts in Wake County, Durham County, Johnston County, and Pitt County, and in the federal courts of the Eastern District of North Carolina.

"So much of what's the web is poorly written, or filled with spam and keywords," said Mr. Chetson. "We hope that people do not rely upon what they read on the internet, but at least are pointed in the right direction by clearly written explanations."
