When the weekend rolls around in Milwaukee, there's nothing better than a made-from-scratch brunch to fuel your appetite. Now, Milwaukeeans can share their passion for brunch with those less fortunate. In celebration of National Grilled Cheese Month, April 2014, Melthouse Bistro is pleased to announce a new Brunch For Hunger Fundraising Initiative. Starting Saturday April 5, through Sunday, August 31, 2014, Melthouse Bistro will donate $0.50 to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin with the purchase of any full-size entrée from the restaurant’s weekend brunch menu. Melthouse Bistro will also donate an additional $0.25 to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin when dine-in guests take a picture of their brunch entrée and tweet it to @FeedAmericaWI or @melthousebistro using the hashtag #brunch4hunger.

To officially kick off the summer-long Brunch for Hunger Fundraising Initiative, Melthouse Bistro will host its 2nd Annual National Grilled Cheese Day Food Drive. Guests that donate three non-perishable food items at Melthouse Bistro on Friday April 11, 2014 between 3 pm - 5 pm or on National Grilled Cheese Day, Saturday, April 12, 2014 between 3 pm - 5 pm will receive a FREE Cheesehead Jr. grilled cheese sandwich.
