Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) April 01, 2014

RankMyBook.com is glad to announce that it will attend the L.A. Times Festival of Books for the very first time this April. Rank My Book, which launched earlier this year, aims to revolutionize the way we look at books and authors. The website is dual-purpose: it helps authors promote their works, on both their website and via frequent social media posts, while also creating an objective, worldwide system by which to rank books.

The Festival, which began in 1996 to bring together authors, publishers, and readers, is the perfect place for Rank My Book to build its user base. Fans and authors alike can take advantage of Rank My Book’s features, and is the perfect tool for the more than 150,000 people who attend the festival each year. Rank My Book will join the publishers, booksellers, museums, theaters and literacy and cultural organizations that exhibit at the L.A. Times Festival of Books. It will hold several special events throughout the Festival at booth #191, which it shares with Next Century Publishing.

“We’re so excited to share RankMyBook.com with such an enthusiastic community of book lovers,” says Rank My Book founder Ken Dunn. RankMyBook.com is a free service for authors as well as a great ranking system for readers/ potential readers which hopes to share its features with book lovers all over the globe. The L.A. Times Festival of Books is the perfect place for this new site to interact with passionate readers and book-makers. The Festival, which will take place April 12th-13th, takes place on the University of Southern California campus.

“The L.A. Times Festival of Books is all about bringing together those who create books with those who love to read them. RankMyBook.com strives to do the same thing, connecting books and authors worldwide through an online site,” concludes Dunn.
