Southampton A.C.O. Announces Selection Process for Electronic Medical Records Company

Southampton A.C.O. recently announced the beginning of the selection process for an electronic medical records company. Ideally, the electronic medical records company will be able to synthesize different types of software now used by independent physicians to make the A.C.O. communication seamless.

The Affordable Care Act allows the Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services to form partnerships with doctors in order to change unsustainable medical business behavior; A.C.O.’s are those partnerships. As Southampton A.C.O. constructs itself to be a successful organization, they announce the beginning of the selection process for an electronic medical records company, giving them the ability to make communication seamless amongst their independent healthcare professionals.
