Michelle Kerr, president of the information technology services and solutions firm Oxford Consulting Group, has been named the State of Ohio and SBA Region V “Small Business Person of the Year” by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). One SBA award winner is chosen from every state, plus District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam, and from those a winner is selected from each of the ten SBA regions. Kerr has been named as the winner for Region V, which covers Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
Michelle Kerr co-founded Oxford Consulting Group in her early twenties, and under her leadership, the company has achieved a three-year growth rate of 100 percent and has expanded to multiple offices in the United States and United Kingdom. In addition, Kerr has launched a technology training program to help provide much sought-after skills for enterprises, while helping to bring new jobs and economic development domestically.
